About Me

Hi there,

I want to preface this section with, yes I have a sense of humor, but on a serious and professional note… I do love helping business owners find ways to improve their business systems, take back some needed time to themselves, and provide assistance in anyway if within my means. I am smarter than the average bear, and pretty darn resourceful when a challenge presents itself, so feel free to contact me and I would truly love to chat about how I can help you & your business be better than ever.

This ‘About Me’ section is going to be light hearted and laid back, so kick off your shoes and bare with me while I long-windedly introduce myself. My name is Kristen Jones, but it is Krissy to you (since we are friends now.) I am a military wife of 15 years, a mother to a teenage son (Lord help me! Just kidding, he is kind of the best kid ever.) For over a decade I have been searching for my calling. I tried the stay at home mom thing for years and had administrative jobs here and there, but I never felt fulfilled. I was missing that piece of myself that held self pride and satisfaction.

Since moving to San Antonio in 2014 I have worked with others to help grow there businesses and dreams, and as much as I love doing that I decided I needed to also focus on my dreams of success as well. That is when I found entrepreneurship. I never knew being my own boss would feel so good! (insert head exploding emoji) I opened my own spa and man was I proud! The start up process was so much fun for me. I enjoyed building my website, and creating all my marketing material, and setting up the software and systems (all the stuff you are probably sticking your tongue out at right now, haha). But as much as I loved it, the beauty business just wasn’t for me. I missed being home on the weekends with my family, I was missing my son’s sporting events, and middle school band concerts, and I had just lost the passion for skincare, not to mention running a brick and mortar shop solo was just too much.

And if you knew me at all, you would know I’m not one to sit down and wait for something to jump into my lap. The first week after closing shop I was brainstorming my next venture, Virtual Assisting! I thought about how I loved the admin part of my previous business, I love helping others thrive and how I had a full home office set up that was just screaming for me to set up shop and throw myself into the hustle. So I got online, enrolled in a VA course and set out to open a home based VA business of my own and POOF! Krissy&Co was born kicking and screaming. You’re welcome for the visual.
